AP Chemistry performs magic show for Elementary students

AP Chemistry held a student-led magic show for Pennekamp Elementary School and Costa
students on May 31 in the Small Theater for the class’s final project.

Each period of Teresa Nielsen’s AP Chemistry class held different magic shows. According to
junior Naomi Charania, experiments in her period included “Elephant Toothpaste,” “Magic
Teapot,” “Disappearing Water,” and more.

“I chose to do the ‘Milk of Magnesia’ experiment, which is basically an experiment involving
color-changing ‘milk,’” said Charania. “I think it went really well, and the kids seemed to be really
enthusiastic.”
