On Thursday, November 2nd, Mira Costa High PTSA rewarded students who made the 2023 spring honor roll with glazed doughnuts! Students lined up outside the main office during office hours on Thursday to receive their gift.
“I think it’s really great that the school does this for us,” Said 10th Grader Scarlet Hanna, “It helps students feel appreciated. I mean getting an honor roll is an accomplishment and it feels really good to get rewarded for it.”
Honor Roll is for students who receive a 3.5 GPA or higher. Excitingly, over half of Costa’s students made honor roll last semester The PTSA does this for each semester to recognize students’ hard work and in turn, motivate students for the next semester.
