Mira Costa Associated Student Body (ASB) organized the end-of-year blood drive in partnership with UCLA on May 23rd.
Students from Costa volunteer during school hours to donate blood to the UCLA hospital for patients. To donate, you must be at least 16 years old and weigh 110 pounds. The blood drive is a great opportunity for students to give back and show their support.
“Donating blood was a great opportunity for me to give back to my community,” said Junior Seamus Oneill. “I look forward to doing this in the future even after high school and I hope to spread awareness about donating blood.”
