Seniors Dash Clark and Siena Fredrick have done it again! After being nominated and winning homecoming king and queen earlier this year, they also both won Prom king and queen at Costa’s 2024 Starry Night prom.
Throughout the night, Costa students turned in their votes on their pick for prom royalty. According to Clarks friend, Senior Slater Smith, Clark’s approachability and fun attitude are some of the likely reasons he has been able to catch people’s votes.
“Dash is a very respectful, and kind guy. Did I mention handsome? He always has an open mind when it comes to meeting new people, and rarely thinks of others in a negative light. He excels at being able to branch out and make new friends.” Smith said. “He is sure to make almost anyone laugh with his charm and cunning wit, which I think contributed to people’s decision to vote for him.”
As Prom king, Clark hopes to take his experiences from high school to college at USMA, and Law School after his 5 years in the Army. According to Clark, prom was overall a great experience and he was shocked when found out he won.
“I was surprised when I won. I enjoyed prom a lot honestly, the venue was nice and seeing everyone dressed up is always fun.” Clark said.
Prom was left with nothing but raving reviews from all attendees, including the prom queen, Siena Fredrick.
“Prom was a lot of fun this year. I had a great time dancing with all my friends and seeing everyone looking so beautifully dressed up.” Said Fredrick, “My favorite part was eating the buffet there, it was so good.”
According to Fredrick, both her and her co-nominee were shocked at being elected king and queen after also winning earlier this year, during homecoming.
“I was kinda surprised but also happy that Dash won too!” said Fredrick, “We’re 2/2 now!”
