The Manhattan Beach Local Farmers Market that everyone knows and loves, has “temporarily” moved to the Civic Center parking lot between the Police/Fire facility and City Hall.
The market, known for its fresh produce, artisan goods, and local vendors, will continue to operate as normal every Tuesday from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the new location. This provisional relocation occurred in response to the destruction of Parking Lot 3 located at the Metlox center plaza.
“We moved because the farmers market wanted to be away from all the construction,” said Dave from Dave’s Korean Foods, “also to be near an open parking lot for vendors and customers.”
A variety of different brands moved to the new location including Bee Wild Collective, Deisy’s Pupusas, and Tammie’s Muffins. “The new location is harder for the venders to unload,” said Frenchie Yogurt Stand Worker, “but we like how it is more breezy and a change of scenery.”
Residents, visitors, and vendors can still enjoy the vibrant community market at the Civic Center, while construction is in progress at Metlox.
