The Mira Costa Mustangs girls softball team played on March 12 against Brea Olinda in their fourth and final game of the Brea Olinda Tournament. The Mustangs won decisively by a score of 10-3. Mira Costa finishes the tournament with a record of three wins and one tie.
The top performer of this game was junior catcher Meghan VonBehren, who capped off the Mustang route with a three run jack. Sophomore Taylor Glover was elected to first team all tournament, a recognition of her outstanding performance throughout the tournament.
This win now brings the Mustangs record to three wins and one tie for the season. Mira Costa plays Marymount in their first home game of the season on March 17.
