On March 16, the Mira Costa girls lacrosse team was defeated by their rivals, Redondo Union High School. The girls started out strong, but lost control of the game in the second half with a final score of 11-4.
Freshman Lia Sepanek scored three times and sophomore Taylor Pool added a score of her own. Unfortunately, Redondo pulled ahead while the Mustangs lost momentum.
Now, 1-1 in the Bay League, the Mustangs will look to improve their overall record in a non-league game on March 18 at Beverly Hills High School.
