The Mira Costa Mustangs baseball team beat the Culver City Centaur’s 5-2 on March 16 in their sixth game of the season. This win improves their record to 4-2.
The Mustangs got off to an early start by scoring two runs in the second inning. Junior Ryan Franklin had an RBI double.
Junior Anthony Lombardo hit a home run later in the game to give the Mustangs a momentum-building home victory.
The Mustangs were led by senior pitcher Sean Isaac who pitched six innings and kept the Centaurs to a low run total to aid the win.
Mira Costa plays hosts Kennedy High School on March 19.
