On March 19, the Mira Costa girls lacrosse team lost twice in the Laguna Hills High School tournament. In their first game, the Mustangs played against Santa Margarita and lost 15-7. In their second game of the day, the girls played against Laguna Hills, losing 11-8.
Although the girls were unable to pull out the wins, sophomore Taylor Pool and freshman Lia Sepanek played well offensively. From the two losses, the girls learned that they need to work on their control, defense, and ground balls.
Mira Costa hosts Downey on March 23.
