Coach Dan Bartlett stated that this season would be the team’s best ever. His declaration was put to the test on March 29 and 30 in Beverly Hills at the J Marrow Invitational preliminaries and held true.
Multiple Costa swimmers set personal bests, including senior Erik Yan, who swam a time of 53.18 seconds in the 100-meter boys butterfly event, and junior Natalie Lavinsky, who clocked in at 55.6 seconds in the 100-meter girls freestyle event. The team is swimming in the finals today, but results were unavailable at the time of publication.
