On April 12, the Mira Costa boys tennis team competed against Redondo for their third Bay League game of the season. The Mustangs were unable to match the play of the Seahawks, falling 10-8. The boys are now 9-7 overall and 1-2 in league play.
Number two singles player sophomore Kyvan Elep clenched two out of his three matches, 6-2, 6-1 and 1-6. In doubles, the number one team of senior Will Wong and sophomore Michael Carella swept their three sets with scores of 6-4, 6-2 and 6-1.
Costa plays Palos Verdes next, at home on March 14 in another Bay League match.
