The Mira Costa boys volleyball team maintained their perfect record in a massive sweep against West high school. On April 12, the Mustangs hosted another Bay League victory with scores 25-7, 25-12 and 25-14.
Costa gained a comfortable lead in each period and seemed to have no trouble overcoming the West Warriors. The two will meet again on April 28 for another Bay League match-up, although this game will be played at West.
Senior Kameron Bain had five aces in a row before Costa gave other players an opportunity for floor time.
The Mustangs, with a record of 15-0 overall and 2-0 in the Bay League, play rival Redondo Union High School on April 14 at home. The Seahawks match the Mustang’s overall record of 12-1 offering an equal and balanced match-up.
