In another demonstration of their power, the Mira Costa boys volleyball team defeated rival team Redondo Union High School in a three-game sweep at home on April 14 with scores of the 25-21, 25-15, and a final 25-20.
Senior DJ White led the Mustangs with 12 kills and 10 digs and setter senior Kameron Bain contributed 27 assists and four blocks.
The Mustangs travel to Santa Barbara high school for a tournament with games on April 15 and 16. Costa has a perfect record of 16-0 for the season and another perfect 3-0 in the Bay League.
