On April 20, the Mira Costa girls lacrosse team defeated Palos Verdes in a home match. The game ended with a final score of 18-10, denoting a Bay League win.
The game was very competitive at the start, but the girls pulled away slowly and by the second half, it seemed as if the Mustangs had already clenched a victory. Sophomore Taylor Pool scored five points and senior Megan Difley dominated the net on defense with amazing saves that allowed the Mustangs to keep their lead.
The girls now have a Bay League record of 4-2. On April 22, they will host Tesoro.
