On April 19, the Mira Costa boys tennis team competed against Peninsula in its fifth Bay League match. The Mustangs were unable to muster a win, losing 12-6. The boys are now 9-9 overall and 1-4 in league play.
The number one doubles team of senior Will Wong and sophomore Michael Carella won two of their three sets with scores of 6-1 and 6-1. Also, the number three doubles tandem of senior Matt Wah and junior Daniel Juhasz defeated the Peninsula’s three seed 7-5.
The Mustangs play West on April 26 in another Bay League match.
