The Mustang boys golf team hit the road on April 19 to take on South Torrance High School. The boys fought hard and at the end of their round found themselves tied with their league rival. After tiebreakers were awarded, the Mustangs were given the win and clinched at least a tie in the Bay League Championship.
Junior Lorenzo Gillenwater led the way for the Mustang’s in their 187-187 with tiebreaker win over South Torrance by shooting a 35. Junior David Kim and senior JP Harper each added a score of 36 to help the Mustangs in their narrow win.
The Mustangs look to continue their success on April 21 when they visit South.
