After finishing in third place at the Santa Barbara Tournament of Champions over the weekend, the Mira Costa boys volleyball team displayed their strength once again in a Bay League match against Palos Verdes at home on April 19.
The Mustangs swept the Sea Kings in three with decisive scores 25-18, 25-19, and 25-23. Palos Verdes started to come back towards the end of the third game but the Mustangs overpowered them and finished, led by senior DJ White with 17 kills.
Costa plays Peninsula High School on April 21 in another Bay League home game.
