On May 2, the Costa boys tennis team hit the road to challenge Palos Verdes. The Mustangs couldn’t match the skill of the Sea Kings, losing 16-2. The team’s record is now 11-10 overall and 3-5 in Bay League.
The number two singles player, sophomore Kyvan Elap won his match 6-4, and the number three singles player, sophomore Ben Sands, also defeated his opponent 6-4.
The boys play their final league match against Redondo on May 3. This match is a playoff to determine which team will advance into CIF.
