A few of the Mustangs boys golfers competed in the first round of Individuals CIF play-offs starting on May 2 and finishing May 5 at Wilson High School.
Junior David Kim continued his strong season by shooting a pair of 72s in his two matches for a total score of 144 and a second place finish. Senior JP Harper stroked a 72 and a 78 for a total of 150 and an eighth place finish. Harper will not advance to the second round of CIF because only the top seven move on.
Though Kim is the only golfer competing in CIF as an individual, he and his teammates will play in the team round of CIF that stars on May 9. Kim will continue his journey on a later date with location to be determined.
