The Mira Costa softball team traveled to Leuzinger on Wednesday, May 5, to take on the Olympians. Costa took on early lead, packing in nine runs in the first inning, and continued their dominance the rest of the game, winning 14-0. Junior pitcher Amanda Padilla was the game’s MVP, throwing a one-hit shutout with nine strikeouts. On May 7, the Mustangs will play versus the Warriors at Marine West field.
