The Mira Costa girls golf team kicked off its season with a win over Redondo Union High School on Sept.13. The game was held at Alondra golf course, and ended with a final score of 226 to 197, bringing Costa to a 1-0 start.
According to varsity coach Tim Kelley, this game was won with a team effort as all the girls received a score of 44 or better including sophomore Megan Kim.
The Mustang’s will host Redondo on Thursday, Sept. 15, starting at 2:45 pm at Chester Washington golf course.
