The Mira Costa girls tennis team hit the road against Chadwick on Friday, September 23, and picked up their second loss of the season. Costa was overpowered in both singles’ and doubles’ play in the match as they took only six games out of the 24 total games the girls played.
The girls were led by the pair, junior Carly McGuire and sophomore Claudia Fellows, who won one of the team’s games and lost a close game to Chadwick’s best doubles pair.
The Mustangs (4-2-1) will look to bounce back in their next match against Marlborogh on September 26 at home.
