On September 27, the Mira Costa girls volleyball team won their match against Palos Verdes in a total of four games. All games were closely contested as the teams were each within four points of each other. Costa won the first game 25-23, the second 25-23, lost the third 23-25, but won the fourth and final game 25-21. The win brings the girls record to an overall of 5-6, and 1-0 in Bay League.

Although the entire team played well, a few players stood out. Senior Katie Warshaw led the team in digs; senior Maddy Klineman led in kills; and junior Corie Bain contributed with the most assists.

The Mustangs look to build off the momentum from this win against another Bay League opponent, West, at Mira Costa on Thursday, October 6.
