The Mira Costa girls tennis team played their second Bay League match of the year against West Torrance on October 6, and won their first league game of the year. Costa had no trouble in singles play as they had a clean sweep of West nine to nothing and ended with a final score of 14-4.
Costa was led by junior Hanna McGuire, who won three of the Mustangs fourteen total games by scores of 6-3, 6-2, and 6-0.
The Mustangs, 7-3-1 and 1-1 in Bay League, look to continue their winning ways in their next match at Peninsula on October 11 at Peninsula.
