On Thursday, Oct. 13, the Mira Costa girls volleyball team won a match against Redondo Union High School in a three-game sweep. The Mustangs won the first game 25-17, the second game 25-20, and the third and closest game 27-25.
All of the Mustangs performed to par and hardly anyone underperformed. Rival Redondo Union was simply unable to hold back Costa.
Costa has a tournament is the Asics California Challenge at Alliance University in Torrey Pines. Games will take place over the course of a three day period beginning on Friday, Oct. 14 and ending on Oct. 16.
