The Mira Costa girls tennis team played at home on October 13 against Redondo High School for their fourth Bay League game of the season and the girls beat their rivals, bolstering their record to 8-5-1 and their Bay League record moving to 2-2. The Mustangs won by a final score of 11-7.
Costa received a three game sweep from sophomore exchange student Paula Cenusa as she beat Redondo’s best three single’s players with scores of 6-0, 6-4, and 6-0.
The Mustangs look to improve off of this win in their next match against rival Palos Verdes on October 18 at Palos Verdes.
