On Oct.17, the Mira Costa boys water polo team played ranked 2nd in division 1 team Los Alamitos at home in the Costa pool. Costa lost making their overall record 8-11 for the season.
The Mustangs fell short versus Los Alamitos with a final score of 6-11 hanging in there most of the way.
Senior Justin Pratt had a notable game scoring 2 goals and having many steals in addition to playing solid defense throughout the whole game.
The team’s next game will be against Redondo Union high school on Oct. 18 at home. Costa will then play in the Orange County Tournament on Monday, Thursday – Friday from Oct. 24 – 29. All the games will be played at Orange County.
