On Thursday, Oct. 13, the girls volleyball team won a match against rival Redondo Union High School in a total of three games. Costa is now 8-6 overall for the season and 4-0 in Bay League.
The Mustangs swept the Seahawks by winning the first game 25-17, the second game 25-20, and the third and closest game 27-25. The entire team played well in order to win in such a difficult and closely matched game.
Costa has a tournament at the Asics California Challenge at Alliance University in Torrey Pines over the course of a three day period, beginning on Friday, Oct. 14 and ending on Oct. 16.
