On Oct. 19, the Mira Costa girls volleyball team beat Palos Verdes High School in a total of four games, bringing their Bay League record to 5-0 and their overall record to 13-8. On Oct. 16, the team’s California ranking was moved up by 4 levels, making the Mustangs ranked 23rd in the state.
The team’s top performers during their match were seniors Katie Warshaw and Maddy Klineman and junior Corie Bain, who all contributed kills and digs to Costa’s victory.
The volleyball team’s next match is against West High School at West on Tuesday, Oct. 25.
