On December 1, the Mira Costa boys soccer team had their first loss this season against Santa Monica High school, downgrading their overall record of the season to 0-1-1.
The game took place at Santa Monica and resulted in Costa’s 3-1 defeat. Although Santa Monica dominated the first half, senior Jess Chamberlain was able to pull through and score from an assist from junior Grant Southwood.
During the second half, senior Brad Baeuchler was injured as he went for a header, and is recovering for the next game.
The boys next game is on Tuesday, December 6 on their home field against Mayfair High school starting at 3 pm.
