The Mira Costa girls’ soccer team won their first game of the season on Friday, Dec. 2 against Bishop Montgomery, improving their overall record to 1-1.
Freshman Makenna Doyle scored the Mustangs first goal in the teams 2-0 victory over Bishop Montgomery. The second goal was scored by freshman Megan Carver.
Bishop Montgomery took no shots in the first half and in the second half, freshman goalie Nonie Frishette saved a penalty kick keeping Bishop Montgomery at no score.
Costa’s next game is on Monday, Dec. 5 against Beverly Hills High School on the road.
