The Mira Costa boys basketball team faced Marywood Palm Valley at home on Jan. 6 for the last non-league game of the season. The Mustangs won in a blowout with a final score of 78-17, bringing their record up to 13-3 overall going into Bay League.
Junior Oliver Mausner led the Mustangs with 13 points while senior Jeremy Prim followed closely with 12. Every Costa player who was suited up for the game managed to put points on the board.
The Mustangs kick off their Bay League season at home on Jan. 10 versus West Torrance High School.
